Vince Vitrano

Vince Vitrano

Having received a promise from my pal Brian Gotter that if I raised $2000 he'd be Batman to my Robin and go down with me, I've adjusted by fundraising goal!

Despite my enthusiastic support, and apparent fun loving attitude in my stories... I don't actually like rappelling!

As a member of the Board of Directors for Special Olympics Wisconsin, I am inspired by the courage of our athletes and their families. They move me every day. The example they set in the courage to live each day so fully pushes me to be better.

Because Special Olympics plays an important role provides a platform for people with intellectual challenges to achieve and grow, I remain dedicated to its success. We are constantly looking to expand the number of athletes whom we serve, and to expand the services we provide to the nearly 10,000 in Wisconsin already a part of our family.

Please help me continue this mission.

The mission of Special Olympics Wisconsin (SOWI) is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
